  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable taking initiative and knowing when to delegate responsibilities
  • Experience creating and executing work plans autonomously and/or with others
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet and social media platforms

Duties: The Tool Library Assistant will help manage the new tool library. They will be onsite during open hours (12 hours per week), greeting members, helping them find the tools they are looking for, helping members sign up, checking out tools to members. Tool Library Assistant will use an automated reservation system to manage membership, inventory and to collect metrics during check in and check out. This position may also include some light lifting (50 lb max), weighing, sorting and displaying incoming materials in the making space and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
